# Sunny Kaila

> Sunny Kaila is the founder and CEO of IT By Design (ITBD), an operating partner for managed service providers (MSPs). He is a keynote speaker, the author of four books on leadership, global teams and AI, and the host of the Sunny's Silver Linings podcast. This site covers his speaking, books, media and resources.

Sunny arrived in the United States from India in 1993 at 18, landed in Jersey City, NJ, and started his career driving a New York City taxi. He went on to found IT By Design, which builds and runs global delivery teams, NOC and SOC operations, AI automation and performance management (TeamGPS) for MSPs. Through ITBD, he also leads the Build IT community and the annual Build IT LIVE conference for MSP owners and leaders.
